OCP is the responsible custodian of the world’s largest reserves of phosphate. They are the leading producer and exporter of phosphate rock, and producer of fertilizer, representing around five percent of the Moroccan GDP, and is the country’s largest company. Their strategic priorities are to feed the soil to feed the world – and to create a more sustainable future for us all. They play a vital role in improving soil fertility and developing more sustainable farming practices around the world, with a specific focus on Africa. Public corporations must provide a document that describes their operations and financial conditions of the year. OCP documents their activity by excellent photographers and with beautiful pictures as a starting point, I crafted their annual report for several years. Not understanding the language, it was a special challenge to select typefaces and work with the Arabic calligraphy. And also to maintain the same visual balance as in the French and English versions. The first volume of the report, with an editorial by the king, contains a combination of graphics, photos, and an accompanying narrative, all of which chronicle the company's activities over the past year and forecasts about its future. The second volume contains detailed financial and operational information.
